What is Microneedling with PRP?
Microneedling with PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) uses injections made of a concentrate from platelets extracted from a small amount of your blood. Platelets contain growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area.
How does Microneedling with PRP work?
The process of obtaining PRP involves a blood draw and a centrifuge. Blood is drawn from your arm, then spun down in a centrifuge (a machine that spins at high speeds to help separate blood components). After spinning, the plasma rises to the top, and the lower part of the plasma is the PRP. The PRP is then applied to the micro channels created by the microneedling pen.
What can Microneedling with PRP treat?
Microneedling with PRP can treat acne scars, surgical scars, wrinkles and fine lines, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, large pores, and uneven skin texture.
